The Federal Labour Court library is a specialized legal library focusing on labour law. It provides media and special information that is needed by the members of the Court to do their work. The Collection

The collection of the library contains about 99,000 volumes. They cover literature concerning the following topics:

  • labour law
  • social law
  • civil and procedural law
  • constitutional and administrative law
  • European law
  • general and specialized reference books

Furthermore, the library obtains about 270 periodicals. The archive of about 87,000 collective agreements is of great importance to the work of the Court. The collection of the library – established in 1954 – tells much about its history.

Research

The entire stock of the library is listed in the online catalog. Every two months a list of new acquisitions is published, in which you can find the latest media added to the collection. You can see which periodicals are available in the library in the list of periodicals.
